No. Template creation and food records stay on the device. Apple purchases and services you choose for sharing or file backups may use the internet. There is no app account or automatic developer cloud sync.
Free access includes up to 20 active ingredient records and the first template in each of four categories. Those templates carry a free-access badge. The free calorie journal allows text, dates, and calorie entry while keeping the app watermark; other free templates keep preset text. Membership unlocks all templates, additional ingredient records, and custom text and watermarks.
Finish editing, generate the image, and use the result actions to save to your photo library, keep a creation, add it to a chosen calendar date, or open system sharing. Available sharing targets depend on the apps installed on your device.
Export a full backup and retain the file in a location you choose. Import that file on the destination device. Language, theme, and text size keep their local settings; membership is verified through Apple, not granted by a backup. Old JSON copies do not contain photos.
iPhone purchases use Apple. The purchase sheet shows price and duration. Restore with the original Apple Account; manage renewal or request a refund through Apple. Uninstalling or clearing data does not cancel a subscription. If no verified store product is available, the app will not fake a successful purchase.
