The service and your choices
Read the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use before using Chi Hao Kan. Neither choice is preselected. You can defer acceptance and use local basics that do not depend on purchases or additional system access. Purchases, sharing, and permissions require their own choices. Templates process photos on the device; there is no AI image generation, developer photo cloud, or app account. Apple platform terms and its standard end-user license also apply to an App Store download. These terms do not exclude mandatory consumer rights.
Food information and reminders
You supply calorie values; templates only lay out and total them. Editorial dishes and nutrition estimates may be incomplete or inaccurate. Dates are reminders you set, not food-safety assessments. The app does not perform OCR, identify freshness, diagnose or treat conditions, or provide personalized nutrition or weight-loss advice. Check ingredients, allergens, packaging, and storage, and seek professional advice where needed.
Your photos, creations, and backups
You retain your lawful rights to photos, text, and records and must have the right to use them. The app reads, lays out, saves, and backs up this content locally; it does not obtain permission to use it for advertising, training, or public distribution. Check recipients and private information before sharing, and safeguard backup files. Third-party sample images remain under their individual licenses. Credits and visible brands do not imply endorsement.
Acceptable use
Do not infringe privacy, image, or copyright rights, create or distribute unlawful material, bypass entitlement verification, interfere with the app, or present general food records as professional diagnoses. Free creations retain the Chi Hao Kan brand watermark. Members may customize or hide it where supported, but that does not grant additional rights to third-party content or marks.
Free access, membership, and availability
Free access allows up to 20 active ingredient records and the first template in each of four categories. Standard free templates support photo replacement and composition with preset text and branding. The free meal calorie journal also permits text, dates, and calorie entry while keeping the brand watermark. Active members can add more ingredients, use all templates, and customize text and watermarks. Unlimited item access remains subject to device storage and reasonable technical capacity. The term, price, and renewal type appear in Apple’s purchase information before confirmation. Auto-renewable products renew until canceled; manage future renewal in Apple subscription settings. Cancellation is not a refund; Apple handles refund requests under applicable rules. Restoration uses the original Apple Account and verified entitlements. Expiry or a refund restores free limits without deleting existing records or creations. Membership does not include developer cloud sync or hosted backups. Device failure, deletion, uninstalling, or software faults may lose content without a retained backup. Reminders and availability depend on system permissions, settings, and operating conditions; uninterrupted operation is not guaranteed.
